This workshop will touch on how trauma becomes trapped in the mind and body. How yoga can be a healing tool to aid those who are healing from trauma, PTSD, and addictions. How yoga allows trauma survivors to safely re-inhabit their bodies in a predictable and safe environment. Students will learn how a trauma-sensitive yoga practice differs from a regular yoga practice and be led through a trauma-sensitive practice and meditation. This workshop is open to all.
No prior yoga experience is necessary. This is a great workshop for clinicians, yoga teachers and those looking to use yoga as a tool to heal.
