Ahoo Sarab

Founder, Yogini, Teacher & Student of the Practice

I built the yoga studio I wanted to go to.

My relationship with yoga began in my late teens, during a time when I was learning how to navigate a complicated, changing world. I discovered something on the mat that I hadn’t found anywhere else: a practice that could simultaneously ground me and awaken me. Yoga could quiet my mind, challenge my body, and somehow make me feel more like myself.

I explored many traditions and styles over the years, but I kept finding my way back to hot and power yoga—the practices that asked me to show up fully, breathe through discomfort, and discover what was possible on the other side of resistance.

My path eventually took me far beyond the mat. I spent more than a decade living and traveling throughout Eastern Europe and exploring the world, experiences that profoundly shaped the way I see people, culture, movement, and what it means to live a meaningful life. I’ve traveled to more than 60 countries, climbed mountains, and continually sought out experiences that challenge the boundaries of what I think I can do.

When I returned home to Roswell, I knew I wanted to create something of my own.

Not simply another yoga studio, but a place that felt beautiful, intelligent, welcoming, and alive. A place where a lifelong yogi could deepen their practice and someone walking into a yoga studio for the very first time would feel equally at home.

That became Korsi Yoga + Juice.

Today, I own and operate Korsi in Historic Roswell, and co-own Still Hot Yoga, a sister studio in Decatur that has been serving the community for more than 25 years. Still Hot is rooted in the traditional Bikram Hot Yoga sequence, while Korsi is an expression of my broader vision for the practice—bringing together different yoga traditions, movement modalities, meditation, heat, and community.

And then there is the juice.

Our juice bar grew from the same philosophy that informs everything we do at Korsi: what you put into your body matters, too. Fresh-pressed juice, nourishing ingredients, and thoughtful food are a natural extension of the practice—another way to care for yourself before or after you step onto the mat.

My work extends well beyond teaching asana. My studies and certifications include yoga, mindfulness meditation, MBSR, Holotropic Breathwork, and herbalism, along with years of continuing education and exploration into the science and philosophy behind the practice. I’m fascinated by the intersection of ancient wisdom and modern neuroscience—how breath, movement, attention, and consciousness can change the way we experience ourselves and the world around us.

I don’t believe yoga is about perfecting a pose.

I believe it is about becoming more fully yourself.

Sometimes that means finding strength where you didn’t know you had it. Sometimes it means learning to surrender. Sometimes it means getting quiet enough to hear what has been there all along.

The lift and the falling away.

That is the practice I want to share.

Korsi is my homecoming to Roswell—the community I have loved and called home for much of my life—and a reflection of everything I believe a yoga studio can be.

Come as you are. Practice where you are. Leave a little more yourself.
