STUDIO POLICIES, ETIQUETTE & WAIVER

We want Korsi to be a welcoming, respectful, and safe space for everyone. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our studio policies before practicing with us.

WAIVERS

Every person practicing at Korsi must complete and sign our required waiver before participating in class or any studio activity. No exceptions.

No waiver, no practice.

By signing the waiver, you acknowledge that yoga, exercise, and movement practices involve inherent risks and that you are responsible for practicing within your own abilities and limitations.

GENERAL POLICIES

Schedules, Teachers & Pricing

Class schedules, teachers, pricing, memberships, passes, promotions, and products are subject to change without notice. Please check our website or app for the most current information.

Privacy

Your privacy matters to us. Personal information provided to Korsi is used only to provide services, process transactions, communicate with you, and improve your experience with us.

We do not sell or share your personal information for third-party marketing purposes. Payment information is processed through our payment providers and is not stored or shared by Korsi outside of what is necessary to process your transaction.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

Classes & Class Passes

Prepaid classes are non-refundable. Class Passes are non-refundable, non-transferable, non-shareable, and non-extendable and must be used within their stated validity period.

Please check the expiration date of your pass at the time of purchase and throughout your membership.

Gift Cards

Gift cards are non-refundable and non-returnable. Gift cards purchased for a specific class, pass, or service may only be used toward that designated purchase and cannot be redeemed for cash.

Memberships

Membership payments are non-refundable once processed, except in the event of an error on the part of Korsi.

Memberships are non-transferable. Please refer to your membership agreement for specific cancellation terms, notice requirements, and applicable policies.

Workshops, Events & Retreats

Workshop, event, and retreat cancellations require 48 hours’ notice by email.

Cancellations received less than 48 hours before the event are non-refundable unless we are able to fill your reserved space.

Refunds are subject to a 20% administrative fee. Alternatively, you may choose to receive a full credit to your Korsi account, which can be applied toward a future Korsi purchase.

Absence from a workshop, event, or retreat is non-refundable.

Korsi reserves the right to cancel or modify an event when necessary. If Korsi cancels an event, participants will be notified by email and may choose between a full refund or full Korsi account credit.

Cancellation requests should be emailed to ahoo@korsiyoga.com.

Private Instruction

Private sessions require 24 hours’ notice for cancellation or rescheduling.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged the full session fee.

If you arrive late, your session will still end at the originally scheduled time. If you are more than 15 minutes late, the instructor may determine whether an abbreviated session can be provided.

Massage, Reiki & Bodywork

A 24-hour cancellation policy applies to all bodywork appointments.

Missed appointments and cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged the full session fee.

Teacher Training

Application fees and deposits, when applicable, are non-refundable.

If you cancel 7 or more days before the start of a course, module, or section, you may receive a refund less a 25% administrative and processing fee.

Cancellations made fewer than 7 days before the start of a course, module, or section are not eligible for a refund. At Korsi’s discretion, an account credit may be issued toward the same training or module in the future. Credits are subject to a 25% administrative and processing fee and expire two years from the original training start date.

Credits may only be applied toward the same training, module, or section and may not be used toward other Korsi purchases.

Cancellations received on or after the start of a training, module, or section are not eligible for a refund or credit.

All teacher training cancellation requests must be submitted by email to ahoo@korsiyoga.com.

STUDIO & CLASS POLICIES

Class Capacity

For everyone’s comfort and safety, each class has a maximum capacity.

We strongly recommend registering in advance to reserve your spot. Once a class reaches capacity, additional students will not be admitted.

If you have registered online but arrive after class has begun and the room has reached capacity, you may be asked to attend another class.

Mat Placement

You’ll find Korsi logo markers on the studio floor. Please place the top, short edge of your mat centered behind the logo. Proper mat placement helps us accommodate everyone comfortably.

Late Arrivals

We understand that life happens, but for the safety and experience of everyone in the room, students may arrive no more than 10 minutes after class begins.

Please wait until the opening meditation or centering has finished before entering the studio.

After 10 minutes, no additional students will be admitted. Please join us for another class.

Lost & Found

Korsi is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen belongings.

Please leave valuables at home and use the lockers provided in the changing room when necessary. Personal belongings should not be brought into the yoga room.

Our Lost & Found is cleared on the first day of each month. Unclaimed items, including yoga mats, may be donated or discarded.

Inclement Weather

The safety of our students and staff comes first.

If Fulton or Cobb County Public Schools are closed due to inclement weather, daytime classes will be canceled.

Evening classes will remain scheduled unless Korsi announces otherwise via email or social media.

If Fulton or Cobb County Public Schools announce a one- or two-hour delay, Korsi will open at noon.

Please check your email before traveling to the studio during severe weather.

STUDIO ETIQUETTE

Come Prepared

Bring a yoga mat, towel, and water bottle to class. Korsi provides mats and towels at no charge, although many students prefer to bring their own.

Arrive Early

Please arrive 5–10 minutes before class so you have time to check in, change, set up your mat, and settle into the room.

Keep Belongings in the Locker Room

Please leave bags and personal belongings in the locker room. Cell phones and bags are not permitted in the yoga room.

Shoes Off

Please remove shoes, flip-flops, and socks before entering the studio and place them in the designated cubbies.

Keep It Fragrance-Free

Please avoid wearing perfume, cologne, heavily scented lotions, or aftershave to class. What smells lovely to one person can be overwhelming in a heated room.

Honor the Quiet

Please observe silence in the yoga room. The studio is a place to turn inward, settle your mind, and give yourself a break from the noise of the outside world.

Hydrate

Come to class well hydrated. Bring water and drink as needed throughout your practice.

Expect to Sweat

Hot yoga is exactly that—hot. You will sweat.

Bring an absorbent towel to place over your mat. A hot yoga towel is ideal, but a regular towel from home works too.

Eat Light

Avoid eating a large or heavy meal immediately before class. We recommend finishing a substantial meal at least 1–2 hours before practice and choosing something light if you need to eat closer to class.

Listen to Your Body

You do not need to push through every sensation.

Take breaks whenever you need them. Rest in Child’s Pose, lie down, or simply pause and breathe.

Your practice is your own. There is no prize for suffering.

Whenever possible, remain in the room during class. If you need to leave for any reason, please do so quietly and safely.
